آن‌ها از روزها پیش از شروع اجلاسن سران گروه 8 در نقاط مختلف ایتالیا دست به این‌گونه اقدامات زدند.

فعالان جوامع مختلف، اتحادیه‌های گوناگون، سازمان‌ها و جنبش‌های جوانان در این اعتراضات شرکت کرده و علیه سیاست‌های گروه 8 وارد عمل شدند
